BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia and accumulated most of my formal training in art from a magnet program I attended in high school, The Governor's School for the Arts. Around that same time I started completing commissioned work for clients, ranging in scale and complexity from logo designs to full-wall paintings. In 2018, I received my B.A. in Studio Art and English with a Spanish minor from Wake Forest University. I studied abroad in both Salamanca, Spain and London, England and was otherwise involved in radio broadcasting, gallery exhibitions, and print-publishing the campus literary magazine. After graduation, I moved to Seattle where I worked in an art supply warehouse, accumulating practical knowledge and connecting with local creatives while moonlighting as a bartender. During the pandemic, I moved back to Virginia and launched a freelance business completing more commissions for clients. I then returned to academia at the University of Texas at Austin, School of Architecture, where I will earn my master’s in interior design in the spring of 2025. I currently intern at Farrington Lane, a design firm in Austin, and as an ongoing side pursuit, I'm developing a few works of fiction that I hope to eventually publish.
